John is a life-long resident of Muscatine County.  As a Muscatine native, John takes pride in serving his hometown.  Born in 1957, he was raised on a farm in rural Muscatine County and is a 1976 graduate of Muscatine High School.  He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with Distinction from the University of Iowa in 1980 and went on to achieve his Juris Doctor degree with Distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1983.  John is a member of the Muscatine County Bar Association, the Iowa State Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Muscatine Welfare Association and the Muscatine Community College Foundation.  He is a past member of the Board of Directors of Volunteers & Information, Inc. and United Way of Muscatine.  He is past-Treasurer of the Muscatine County Bar Association.  John also served as City Attorney for Nichols, Iowa, from 1990-1995, and was a Co-Instructor for Legal Aspects of Entrepreneurship at the University of Iowa's Henry B. Tippie College of Business from 1998-2001.

In John's spare time, he enjoys biking, woodworking, turning junk into displayable art, and spending time with his family and friends.  He also loves being a grandfather.

 Rosy was born in 1970 in Brownsville, Texas, but moved to Muscatine with her family in 1972.  She is a 1988 graduate of Muscatine High School, received her Associate of Arts degree, with Honors, in 1997 from Muscatine Community College, received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1999 from the University of Iowa Henry B. Tippie College of Business, and achieved her Juris Doctor degree in 2002 from the University of Iowa College of Law.  Rosy is currently the Vice President and Real Estate Chair of the Muscatine County Bar Association, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Muscatine Community College Alumni Association.  She is the Chairperson for the Muscatine County Civil Service Commission, a member of the Muscatine County Compensation Board, a member of the Grievance Commission of the Supreme Court of Iowa, and a member of the General Practice Section Council for the Iowa State Bar Association.  She has also served as Chairman of the Board for the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce and Industry 2007-08, a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce and Industry 2004-2010 and the United Way of Muscatine 2008, and was the Instructor of Business Law for Iowa Weslyan College in 2003.

In Rosy's spare time, she enjoys knitting, reading, being outside, and loves spending time with her family and friends.  Rosy's newest hobby is her granddaughter, Rhynn.
