Eichelberger Law Office PC first opened on January 1, 2001, when John decided to venture out on his own after practicing law with other local law firms for over 17 years.  In 2002, after obtaining her law degree, John's wife, Rosy, joined the firm, and in November 2007, the two changed the firm's name to Eichelberger Law Office PC.  The firm practices in the areas of real estate, wills, trusts and probate law, in addition to small business organizations.  Rosy says they practice "Happy Law," because their clients use them because they want to and not because they have to.

 John and Rosy have put a unique spin on the practice of law in Muscatine.  Not only are they a two-attorney, husband and wife firm, but their office staffed entirely by members of their family; one of John's sisters and two of Rosy's sisters.  The office is located in an old grocery store-turned insurance company-turned law office and is full of hand-picked antiques and family photos.  They set up their office to not only make themselves, but their clients, feel at home.  Additionally, their Maltese, Mio, joins them at their office every day.
